We invite all children, amateur, school and professional choirs to join in and create a mass, premiere performance of phōnḗ on Saturday 2 November.
Connect over distance, cultures and language by staging a performance in your home location on the same time and day as choirs across the UK, Nordics and beyond!
phōnḗ is a piece for voices and tin can telephones. The piece reflects on how we can connect with sound: we can sing, talk and listen, even with distance, by using different technologies.
The piece has been written to allow as many choirs as possible to take part, from children’s choirs to choral societies, and everything in between.
It requires a minimum of 20 singers split over two or three scores and works really well with multiple choirs singing together.
