Northern Connection II: defunensemble
The Northern Connection project is a partnership between Music Finland, Music Norway, and the Scottish Music Centre, where composers, ensembles, and festivals collaborate to create new works which can be shared with audiences in all three countries. The works were first performed in each ensemble’s home festival (Ultima in Norway, Musica Nova in Finland, and soundfestival in Scotland), and are now coming together.
Finnish contemporary music specialists defunensemble perform a virtuosic programme of work by Finnish, Icelandic, and Scottish composers.
