Unn Paturson (b. 1974), singer / composer

Since 1997, when her first recordings with Unn's choral music were released, she has been working regularly with choral composition.

Since 2006, Unn has been involved with Faroese womens' choir, Cantabile, as conductor, composer and singer. In 2009 the CD “Seinnameiri” with Cantabile, was released including some of Unn's works.

From 2008 Unn has also worked with singers Katrina Petersen, Eyð Berghamar Jacobsen og Anna Maria Olsen performing regularly with the vocal group , KATA, mainly singing bulgarian folk music.

Unn has released 2 solo albums as singer and composer:

Solo-CD 1: Gloymska við grape (Run-records, 2000). Popp / rock music with Faroese lyrics.

Solo-CD 2: RUN (Tutl, 2003). RUN is Nordic jazz. Collaboration with Rógvi á Rógvu.

As composer and singer Unn participates in additional 27 Faroese releases.  Unn has performed with groups and soloists such as : Enekk, Eivør, Teitur, Guðrið Hansdóttir , Katrina Petersen... and many more. Now she is a member of the vocal group Kata.
