Tytti Arola is a Finnish composer and sound artist who is interested in music as a multisensory phenomenon. She likes to create instruments from the real sounds of the world. Her latest work deals with combining music with scents and her scent music pieces -combo "Hyvät pahat hajut" (Good bad smells) was premiered at Flow Festival 2016 in Helsinki. Tytti holds a master's degree from Sibelius Academy and is currently studying Sound in New Media MA degree in Aalto University. She has studied composition in Iceland Academy of the Arts and in Turku University of Applied Sciences.


At Nordic Music Days 2017 Arola's work Metsä will be performed by Ensemble Distractfold in the concert "Nordic forests" on 29 September, at 7:00 and 9:15 PM.
